"Disappointing"

About: Heartlands Hospital

My Nan went into hospital for an operation which then ended up being delayed because of the lack of bed they had free! When going to pick my Nan up after she was discharged at 11:30am, but left on her bed, my Nan didn't get to leave the hospital until 3pm because no nurses came to change her dressing or sign the paperwork (I wonder why they had a lack of free beds!?). Not only this but while we were collecting her an elderly lady opposite was ringing her buzzer for around 20 minutes for assistants and no nurses came, ending up with the lady wetting herself in front of a ward of patients and visitors! Absolutely disgraceful! My elderly Nan even had to run and find a nurse after a young lady was crying in pain and not one nurse came to assist! Hospitals aren't nice at the best of times but this was absolutely appalling! To think one of my loved one could possibly be treated this way is a disgrace
