I took my five year old son for his appoinment and when i reached there and handed my appoinment letter which i recd by post , i was taken away with shock to hear that the appoinment has been some how cancelled and mum was informed was updated on the computer system . I was taken by shock as I am the mum and trust me only mum for my son and i had never called up for cancelling the same. i had to pick my son up earlier from school and especially arranged to take time off from work so that i can make it for the appointment. It was a disgusting experience moreover as when i asked for a new copy of the appoinment letter for the new date amnd time which the hospital had decided i was asked to go to other department to get it and when i asked the receptionist , they said i am asking in the wrong dept . i was going from one to the other just to get the new letter. unbelievable as to how NHS works! disgusting.
