"Outpatient Minor Surgery"

I wish to thank the consultant and their marvellous team for taking such good care of me yesterday. I had minor surgery as an outpatient to remove a lump that had developed just below my eye. The Department accommodated an urgent appointment upon request as I had to transfer from Grantham, I was in at 8:45 and finished by 9:30. Clear explanations were given, questions answered and all of the staff were helpful and polite with nothing but the greatest care given.

All of this was delivered in an organisation that is under funded, under staffed and taken for granted a lot of the time. Yes, we had to travel an hour to get there but I would rather that than lose the NHS altogether.
