"Amazing maternity care"

I cannot praise the entire maternity team at Queens enough - from the diabetic midwife team prior to giving birth to the labour ward team.

I gave birth to my first child, a daughter, on 13.1.16 and was dubious about Queens following its history but ended up feeling I should be paying additionally for the care I received.

I found ALL staff to be courteous, friendly and approachable and was made to feel comfortable and that no question was silly.

I was kept extremely well informed with doctors ensuring they came back to me with information if they said they would.

I gave birth on the labour ward with a fantastic team which numbered 9 at one point - again ALL staff were amazing and showed compassion, humour and professionalism.

After the birth the team were amazing with my diabetic midwife even coming to find me on the ward to congratulate me which was amazing!

I spent 4 days in hospital in a variety of rooms and found them all to be very clean, as was the entire hospital.

I cannot thank the team enough for safely delivering my daughter to my husband and I and for the care I received during pregnancy and after the birth.

I would recommend the maternity team at Queens in a heartbeat.
