"Very poor service, not person centred"

About: Hallam Street Hospital

Very poor service, staff where unfriendly, and had very minimal interaction with the service users.

Visitors where not signed in and out of building, while i visited a relative at charlemont house, the staff nurse didn't know who was a patient and who was a visitor. The care is a very poor standard, with staff staying in the staff room and rude when you knock on the door. The welcome/introduction to the house was non existant. We was shown to a communial foom with other service users and left there for 40 mins.then finally my relative was shown to her room, after i asked twice. She has a hip replacement and cant manage stairs, however this was not taken into comsideration and she was put on the top floor. Patients appeared to be left to their own devices, A patient was more helpful than the staff, they showed us where the kitchen & toilets where. then went through the activities available throughout the week.
