On the 19th Feb I had minor surgery at the Hexham Day Treatment Centre. Absolutely can not fault a thing - everybody I saw was amazing and so lovely.

I was incredibly nervous even though it was a minor procedure, but all of the staff did their best to make me feel comfortable. It was also very reassuring to have someone stay with me in theatre and know that they weren't going anywhere, especially as I had my eyes covered up so couldn't see.

Thank you very much to the consultant, theatre staff, nurse and health care assistant that looked after me on the day, as well as everyone else involved to make something like this happen.

I'm still waiting for the results and I really hope that this was the end of anything that I need doing, but I would have no problem whatsoever in coming back in to Hexham if I ever needed treatment in the future.
