"Satisfied"

About: Charing Cross Hospital

I have attended the Gender Identity Clinic and gone on to see the surgical team in Charring Cross. Apart from a couple of admin faults I am very satisfied with way I have been treated. I read reviews on here of people complaining, but what do they expect from what is essentially a very small team? Yes waiting times are long and are often longer than promised but I believe they do the best they can with the funding available to them.

At least here you will get the desired surgery eventually. Try living in France and getting prescribed hormones never mind surgery!!

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust runs the surgical side of the Gender department.

The Gender Identity Clinic is run by West London Mental Health Trust.

We passed on your feedback to the senior managers and your comments are important.

We wish you well with any treatment and care.
