"Reassuring care from early pregnancy unit"

I would like to provide some really positive feedback about the team working in the maternity assessment centre and early pregnancy.

I have previously had two miscarriages and fell pregnant last year, the first few months of this pregnancy have been incredibly fraught for me and I've also had two large bleeds. The staff in the department are always so calming and reassuring and they take such good care of you, reassuring you and making sure they are as quick as they can be.

I feel that early pregnancy units and scanning departments may often be missed from feedback as people tend to focus on the team who help bring their baby into the world - but from my perspective, Elaine and the team in Airdrie will be every bit responsible for my baby's eventual safe arrival as they kept me calm, supported me and reassured me through every step of the way.

I couldn't have hoped for a better service. Please pass on my thanks.
