"Baby should have been tested for UTI"

About: Erith & District Hospital

Visited yesterday with 6month old baby with fever over 38 for last 5 days. Doc performed usual checks and gave meds to bring temp down which at the time was 39.2. Whilst waiting for doc we was sat in another room and nurse asked if baby had a liner/pad in nappy to take urine sample. No liner was given to us... Low and behold after 5 hours in a&e today my child has been diagnosed with a UTI. Very disappointed as this could have been diagnosed a day earlier here had you performed the correct checks.
