"Telephonist"

On two occasions when phoning to ask for a department the telephone operator was very brusque. On the first occasion they asked me forcefully why I wanted that number then told me the doctor would not have time to talk to me. When I said I thought maybe the secretary could answer my question they again were very short saying O wait before connecting me. On the second occasion I was greeted with 'What!' This person was for me on those days the voice of St Albans Hospital and it was a rather unpleasant voice.
