Took 9 weeks from initial referral to getting treatment.
Had to travel an hour each way to reach the initial appointment.
Request for long-term preventative treatment completely ignored at triage appointment, despite this being the point of the referral, and my wish for treatment.
Instead, referred for short-term treatment to commence 9 weeks from the initial referral, by which time the problem was mostly resolved - but will recur without preventative treatment.
Utter waste of time and resources.
They were more concerned with labelling me with a short-term condition and treating me as cheaply as possible than providing the care that both I and my GP requested.
"Long wait, no decision-making involvement, poor..."
