This course was amazing, Anne  hosted ours and she is a remarkable lady. She is kind and considerate and she really wants to help parents and carers to be able to communicate with their children. She helps you to look at how you interact and play with your child and simple suggestions can go a really long way - the power of pointing - I would never have imagined how it helps in the long term as well as in the moment! Go with an open mind and don't be defensive as there is no need - she is there to help and understands its not always easy, her support and guidance is invaluable.

Thank you for your positive feedback on the Hanen More Than Words Programme and your very kind words about Anne.

It is amazing to me what parents can achieve when they have some guidance, support and reassurance that they are doing the right thing! Communication is so important for helping our children make sense of their world and in developing relationships and learning. All our staff in speech and language therapy are passionate about that.

I hope that your comments will help other parents and I hope that you continue to make progress and enjoy the play and interactions with your child.
