About: University Hospital Wishaw / Emergency Department

(as a parent/guardian),

My son had an accident at school and attended Wishaw General A&E recently. The care he received was first class. He was taken very quickly as he had a broken collar bone and was in pain. His doctor was called Mary Jo and I can not praise this lady enough. She was attentive, helpful and genuinely seemed to care. She was thorough in her testing and also her explanations and she put both my son and I at ease immediately. She is a credit to the hospital and I just wanted to say "THANK YOU". I would really like this feedback to reach her. Thanks!

Thank you very much for getting in touch and for your comments in relation to the care and treatment your son received whilst having to attend the Emergency Department here at Wishaw General Hospital. I indeed hope that he is recovering well from his injury.

It is always nice to get positive feedback and I will ensure this is shared with Dr Mary Jo, who I know will be delighted for the lovely feedback.
