"Damers restaurant"

About: Dorset County Hospital

We ate in a restaurant on Tuesday 1st March and was not happy at all. My wife had liver , small mashed potato, two new potatoes, one floret broccoli, and a sausage. I had meatloaf, two new potatoes, small chips and a sausage , food was plainly awful, we also had two mugs of tea which was the only thing we enjoyed. To be charged £15.40 for it was to me a complete rip off, I don't know how that can be justified. All this after a forty minute wait in out patients that turned into over an hour. Most definitely not happy with our experience, I would appreciate your response. Regards Mr Colin Ball

Dear Mr Ball

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback.

Our catering department prides itself on good quality, locally sourced food and they will be very disappointed to read your comments.

I will make sure that the catering manager receives your feedback. I am also sorry to read that you had a long wait for your outpatient appointment.

If you wish to call or email us with the details on 0800 7838058 or pals@dchft.nhs.uk, we can investigate further to find out why this happened.

Best wishes. Sarah Silverton. Patient & Public Experience Lead, Dorset County Hospital
