"2nd shambolic experience of pregnancy scan"

About: Stepping Hill Hospital

The ultrasound pregnancy scan department is a shambles. The member of staff on reception is very blunt and unfriendly. Both times we have been there have been considerable waits after the appointment time - nearly an hour late. I have a job to get back to and will end up working late to make up the time lost due to the ineptitude of the department. They are unwilling to let you know why things are running late and how long the wait will be

I am sorry to hear of your experience and have forwarded your comments to the appropriate Business Groups to review and identify what measures can be taken to improve the service we offer.

We do endeavour to keep patients updated about any delays in the department and I am sorry that this was not done in your case.

The staff will be reminded of the importance of keeping patients informed in future.
