"Okay, just a pity about the ward doctor"

The majority of the staff in the ward are the first NHS mental health staff I have encountered in Macclesfield who were caring and understanding (and I've encountered many different NHS mental health staff). When I had problems, they were non-judgemental, and if I looked 'down' they'd come to see me. You do lose your privacy (if you're on suicide watch they regularly check up on you) but I understand why.

It's just a real problem that the doctor is so useless. The doctor is ignorant and arrogant and it's clear the doctor doesn't take on board anything that you've got to say. I self-admitted because of safety- I'm a suicide risk- but the doctor decided to ignore my wishes and discharge me, sending me out of the safety of the ward and back to the danger of my place of residence. All they've done is refer me to useless services of minimal benefit that I've used in the past.
