"Arnold lodge has helped me have a future ahead of me and goals"

I have been at Arnold lodge for 16 months I have found it to be very pleasant and I like it here very much. I think all the staff are amazing and I think they are worth their weight in gold. If not more.

If I hadn’t come here I would still be stuck in a B cat prison where there is no help or anything.

Since I have been here at the Arnold lodge I’ve been able to express my feelings and be more open and let people in, there people can help me. Now I am more confident in the thinks I want to do and the things they want me to do. This is all down to the brilliant environment and the help from all the staff and my clinical team who have been understanding and always helpful.

I’ve been here 16 months and at my last CPA (Care Programme Approach) they were talking about for my next CPA having leave permitted by the MOJ (Ministry of Justice). This is something I never thought possible, I thought I would never get out of prison. I have a future ahead of me and goals I wish to accomplish which 16 months ago I wouldn’t have thought possible. I owe a huge thanks to Cannock ward staff, my clinical team, the PD (Personality Disorder) service and Arnold lodge.
