"Weight loss without a diet"

About: Nairn Town and County Hospital

(as the patient),

This is about losing weight without going on a diet. You are told there are no forbidden foods, you are trained in the ways that all foods are available to you.

Its up to the person to decide “are they hungry and so you really need the food or is it just comfort food and you are eating because its for instance a coffee break. Do you really need to have biscuit because that is what you always did and are you really hungry or it just a habit that you have. Overall found the meetings to be very helpful and at no time did I feel intimidated and the lead dietitian Mairi Wotherspoon made you so much at ease and was very caring and at no time did you feel uncomfortable in her company

cheers
