Very busy ward

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Stroke care

(as a relative),

I have a family member in this ward and visit daily, I'm very shocked at the difference since the sister left through the week, The ward just seems a shambles the now, majority of staff are lovely and caring then others just make you feel everything is too much bother, I do understand it is a busy ward and very sick people are in there, but my family member is a patient aswell, today Saturday it was very short staffed.

Many thanks Avy for taking the time to share your feedback. I am very sorry to hear that you feel there has been a change in the ward and I will be addressing this with the team. Over the weekend a number of the ward staff were unwell, therefore your family member may have been cared for by someone they are unfamiliar with.

I would also like to apologise that you feel some staff make you feel that everything is too much bother, this is very disappointing, again I will share this with the team.

Please don't hesitate to speak to myself or any member of the ward staff if you have any future concerns, we would like to have the opportunity to ensure your family member and yourself have the best experience of care.
