About: University Hospitals Of Leicester NHS Trust

I would like to express my thanks to everyone involved in my 17year old sons recovery. He was transferred from QMC Nottingham after a RTC, the care he received on the ICU was excellent. Once on the BIU he was worked hard to get him back on his feet, the nursing staff were very patient with his changing behaviours, the credit is to be given to the physio team who after a week working with him had him on his feet walking which meant he was allowed home to continue his recovery. At the start he was given 24hours to live and with all the love and care given over the time at Nottingham and Leicester I have my boy home which is something I didn't think I would ever have. Please pass on my thanks to all involved and they are all a credit to the NHS

Dear reviewer, thank you for taking the time to review the service you received from our Brain Injury Unit and Physio Team at Leicester General Hospital.

Your review and comments will be forwarded to all the teams involved.

After obviously what was a very traumatic situation to be in, we are delighted to hear that your son is now continuing his recovery at home - a great relief to all....... All good wishes for his continued recuperation, Communications Team, Leicester's Hospitals.
