What I liked
The clinic was busy and everybody seemed engaged in their work.
What could be improved
I visited the rheumatology clinic today and was examined in a painful way to enable diagnosis – I must say the dr used more force than I was used to. After I had been in the room for 1 minute the lead Dr entered and asked the dr dealing with me if they wanted to see another procedure( obviously one that was about to be performed). a yes was said, so they said they would see her in 5 minutes. I felt upset at that point. I struggle into to work each day, have recently paid my way through university, have had to take a day as holiday from work to attend this clinic – support the NHS, etc – pay my Stamp and I am treated like cattle. I understand the importance of training having trained many people in my life but surely it would have been more Respectful and Professional to have requested a moment of my doctor’s time, excused themselves to me and discussed their plans out of earshot, etc.
