i wasw admitted to ward 20 post op with an infection i saw 2 drs who were very pleasant unlike the nursing staff .1 of the drs had asked nurses to give me sme pain relief 3.5 hours later i was still waiting for the medication.i saw 1 nurse on arriving at the ward and no one else until i asked them to take needle out of my hand because i was leaving and going to get a taxi to leeds . they some how managed to find me a bed after this and offerd me two paracetamol which i refused and explained i had had my allowance within the 24hrs and they didnt work.another nurse then came with the stockings and said you need these on and just pulled sheet back and started forcing them on my legs. whilst this was going on the nurse came bk with a syringe told me to go on my side and just rammed it into me.the following day i got myself dressed and asked for a complaints form from the sister who was shocked that i wasnt happy and asked why they then took my mber and said the matron would ring me regarding the matter im still waiting 2weeks on for the call . i think this team of nursrses could do with going back to universaty as at the moment i think they give b.r.i a bad reputation that they dont need
