What I liked
I would love to write something positive, but I'd be lying...
What could be improved
Staff communication with patients and each other, Dr's communication with me, Dr's listening skills, in fact, midway through explaining very important treatments, the Dr started chatting about someone I didn't even know and how he had spent his retirement... hello, I have MS and suffer extreme tiredness, do you think I want to hear all this Dr?! Carry on explaining my treatment options to me, not going off at unrelated tangients! The Dr never did finish explaining, when they got back on subject they said they wanted me to have jabs (I have a needle phobia, never going to happen!) and although there are non-needle alternatives, they got bored and I left frustrated....
Anything else?
The same Dr has been the source of many complaints from what I have been told by fellow patients and the hospital just says "well retiring soon"... ok, good, so how about getting us a Dr who isn't away with the fairies, we need help and treatment, not patronising and ignored!
I am now thinking of travelling 6 miles further and going to Coventry Walsgrave instead, despite the bad reputation the Neuro dept is supposed to be brilliant, that would be a refreshing change...
