"Good and upsetting service"

About: NHS 111 Out of Hours - Spalding

(as a parent/guardian),

Phoned 111 to discuss a rash my daughter had and try and get an appointment for out of hours Dr and was advised to take her to A&E. As a nurse myself I did not feel my daughter needed this and decided to take her to the walk in centre in Lincoln. I am disgusted that the 111 nurse then phoned my daughter back to ask if she felt safe at home. (I would like to make a formal complaint about this).

However when we arrived at the walk in centre we were greeted by anurse on duty and must say the nurse was one of the most kind and compassionate people I have ever come across. The nurse put us totally at ease and we didn't feel rushed and knew that the nurse had the time for us.
