"A hospital to be proud of"

Over the past 2 years I have attended 2 different outpatient departments at Musgrove Park Hospital. From the person at the other end of the telephone who booked (and at times changed) my appointments, to the reception staff, phlebotomist, health care assistants, nurses and doctors my experience has been completely good. Each and every person has been welcoming, polite, efficient and professional and there has often been that extra 'ingredient' which makes so much difference. It may be humour, empathy or another sort of connection, and I don't think it can be taught or measured.
