Following a fall in our home on the night of the 29/ 30th December 2015, my wife sustained facial injuries and neck pain.
She was taken by ambulance to Warwick Hospital A &E Department, arriving after midnight.
She received excellent attention, which included both an X-Ray and also a CT scan.
My wife's neck pain was found to be caused by the fracture of the C2 neck vertebra --, i.e a broken neck..
My wife was transferred to Thomas Orthopaedic ward and remained there during the next seven weeks.
During this time she received excellent treatment and care. This care was provided in a most efficient, caring, kind and friendly way. Everyone, without exception,
involved in this care ,maintained this high professional standard but in such a friendly and caring manner.. In addition to the orthopaedic personnel, my wife also received the attention of the cardiac team
I was very impressed with this very high and considerate care at Warwick Hospital.
My wife is now convalescing at home.
Our family wish to convey our heartfelt gratitude to everyone concerned.
