"Still being passed from one professional to another"

About: Lancashire

(as the patient),

I was sent for an assessment with the mental health team's assessment and treatment team and they determined that I was suitable to be referred to to a therapeutic community, however, only my GP has the authority to make that referral (which is in itself somewhat ridiculous considering my ailment goes under umbrella of mental health) and so they sent out their recommendations to said GP. Unfortunately, for some reason beyond me, I have been told on several occasions that such documentations of a referral haven't been sent in to my GP's office and only now, after weeks of literally telephoning one department after another am I now promised a telephone consultation with the GP to finally work out exactly what is going on, what the hell is going to happen in terms of my care (if anything at all! ) and hopefully move on from this nightmare. Sadly, this surgery is highly unknowledgeable in regards to my health problems and it seems I can expect yet more let downs unfortunately. All clerical staff involved have been genuinely lovely, but unfortunately the doctors involved have been beyond vague.

What was good-Generally well meaning mental health team
