"no one wants to listen"

About: Royal Blackburn Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as a relative),

my daughter has been ill for a while. drs couldn't sort the problem, then just before christmas she was too weak to walk, but was very reluctant to go to hospital (no wonder). eventually she was persuaded and had to be carried to a&e by my son in law at the beginning of January 2016. everyone disregarded the fact that she could not walk, and had severe muscle atrophy. she was diagnosed with acute kidney injury and was placed on ward d3. 2 days later after failing to correctly fill in her risk/safety assessment, she was forced to 'walk' to the commode left at the end of her bed, without assistance. obviously she fell and injured her foot. it took over 24 hours for an xray to be done, and a good 14 days to decide whether there was a break/crack or not. they said there wasn't.

she left hospital only to be to be readmitted 2 days leter. they still claimed the foot was fine and ignored the fact she couldn't walk before the fall, hence why she did fall. after her 4th admission, today they have decided it is cracked and not healing so are going to pot the foot today. STILL they are questioning why she couldn't walk and why her kidneys failed. she went to hospital to find answers from the professionals why can't they tell her why? it's been a farce and continues to be.
