"Appointment cancelled with no notification!"

About: Queen Margaret Hospital / General Surgery

(as the patient),

I arrived at Dunfermline Queen Margaret Hospital yesterday afternoon for my appointment only to be told it had been cancelled and I should have been told. I wasn't told!

Given I had taken time off from work to travel and to attend this appointment I find it absolutely disgraceful that I wasn't notified. It was a huge inconvenience to myself and to my employer.

Furthermore I was informed that my "6 month" check-up has now been re-scheduled for September. That will have been a year since my biopsy and again, I find this absolutely disgraceful!
