"Daughter's Tonsillectomy"

My 12 year old daughter had a tonsillectomy at Poole Hospital last week as a day case surgery admission. We were so impressed by all of the staff we came into contact with - they were all so caring, attentive and supportive the whole day - from the lovely Staff nurse who really looked after us from the start of the day to our discharge; the anaesthetist, who was fantastic with my daughter and really put her at ease beforehand; the surgeon who spoke and explained everything to my daughter and didn't just speak to me; and the 2 lovely nurses in the recovery ward afterwards who ensured my daughter was comfortable and pain-free before being sent back to the day ward. Thank you to all the staff who helped us that day, we can't thank you enough for everything you did for us.
