"Day procedure"

My seven year old son needed a small procedure, we was offered a tour of the hospital before the procedure which was very very useful, for my son at seven this was his seventh operation and although you could call us experienced, this tour was so beneficial for him as well as the parents. This was the first time we have been to Rivers and the first time we have been offered a tour and I would recommend this to any parents and children, it just helps everyone, knowing what to expect on the day really helped even with our experience.

As for the day itself I can't fault anything, and to be honest I am the first one to find fault! Our nurse for the day had been working at the rivers for 20 years and it showed, it's a shame we can't mention names but the nurse was amazing from start to finish. I asked my son about the best and worst bits, he said the best bit was the prawn sandwich we he came round! I have to admit it was something you would expect from a fine dinning restaurant.

So if your going into the Rivers rest assured you will be in good caring hands from start to finish?
