"Our daughter's care from the neonatal unit"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - City Campus / Paediatrics

(as a parent/guardian),

Our daughter was born at 25 weeks gestation weighing a tiny 1lb, we cannot thank the doctors and nurses enough for the care we recieved. What made our journey that little bit better was the constant support we got from Tracey Maycock (FAB worker) not only did she support me though the good and bad times but she became a friend and someone to turn to. I personally wouldn't have got though our 15 weeks in hospital without her.

Such lovely feedback – thank you. Many congratulations on the birth of your daughter. I am pleased Tracey offered such exceptional support to you and was there for you when you needed it most. I have passed your kind words on to be shared with Tracey directly.

Thank you. I would also like to say that my daughter goes to a group ran by Tracey now at Beeston surest start that is for any babies that have been on the neonatal unit and without this group I would have been a mess when we got discharged but this group not only offers support but the chance to speak to other parents that have been though a similar journey.

Thank you.

Danielle
