Our mum Marie Barham passed away this weekend having been diagnosed with an incurable brain tumor just over 3 months ago. For the past 8 weeks my dad, my sister and I have cared for mum at home and have received the most incredible support from the health and care teams.
The healthcare professionals have worked seamlessly, with compassion, dedication and professionalism to provide a wonderful service throughout this difficult period. The District Nursing team have been central to the excellent service have gone out of their way to provide support, offer advice and ensure that we didn't want for any equipment or additional help that was available.
Over the 8 weeks we have met many of the team members and all have been first class. It is easy to be critical of public services, but in our opinion, the service provided by the team leader Teresa Clark and her whole team could not have been bettered.
"Compassion, dedication and professionalism"
