What I liked

Staff were excellent and kept me informed at all stages of my stay. I was well looked after both before and after my surgery. A big thumbs up to all involved. The tea and biscuits were very wecolme. My wife had no problems when ringing up to confirm when i could be collected. The day ward was very clean.

What could be improved

As others have remarked the building is showing its age and looks as if its near the end of its working life. If it is to remain open then some investment is required to give the buliding a fresh and welcoming appearance. For example new chairs in the waiting room would create a good first impression.

Anything else?

Sutton Hospital appears to me to have a big role in the local community and it would be a shame if it was to be closed or allowded to become unfit for purpose. I would say invest in the building so that staff and service users have a hospital to be proud of.
