"Care given to my daughter during blood taking"

About: The New Selby War Memorial Hospital

Took my daughter to Selby today for her to have a blood test. She is only 3 years old and I knew it was going to be a difficult procedure. The two members of staff who helped me made myself and my daughter feel very looked after it was a very traumatic experience for my daughter but the care given to her was exceptional. You could see they cared for her and how she felt they gave her chocolate out of their own pockets to make her better. I also became very upset and they didn't rush me or my daughter out of the room but took the time to help us both. Thank you.
