"Ward Clark pencarrow ward"

About: Derriford Hospital

Since I have come on this ward I have been met with some obstructive behaviour . First I asked about a free parking ticket and was met with hostility because I am not family even though I explained it was my daughter she is the partner of the patient and they have a child together.

In the end I was able to get the pass but was met by hostility not shouting but the look if condemnation and throughout that visit my daughter and we're subjected to the downward looks.

On the third visit with my daughter I had mislaid the parking pass which was my own fault but when I asked for a replacement I was met with a downward stare before they would help me. Then when we asked to be admitted to the ward we were taken aback because we had not been asked for it on the second visit by the ward. They then felt the need to call me ride to another member of the public I overheard this as they knew I would and told them that they had been rude and obstructive since our first visit they became rude again.

I am upset because from the first visit they lacked sympathy with us which I thought would be one of the requirements of the position of ward clark .

Even other relatives of patients have made remarks about their conduct.

It's sad when a person you beleive will act properly treat people with compassion and respect does the opposite.
