i had the pleasure of attending Hexham for surgery. I found the hospital to be beyond my expectations. It was a peaceful place with amazing staff. Ward 3 was an breath of fresh air with superb accommodation. Staff were very caring and professional. I felt very well looked after before my op during and afterwards. My surgical team were top class putting me at ease instantly. The consultant was a complete professional and their skills surpassed my expectations. The consultant is simply top class. Staff seemed genuinely happy and proud to work there. Hexham simply is the template for what the NHS should be.
