"Excellent support from the Recurrent..."

About: St Mary's Hospital (HQ) (London)

Whilst most people would think that attending the RMC is a negative experience, my husband and I were thrilled when we were referred here. We had heard lots of positive things about how the clinic had helped people with their fertility struggles and we were excited to see if they might have some answers for us. We're not there yet but the support we have received to date from team administration to nurses and doctors has been fantastic.

I feel like someone the clinic really wants to help. Everyone understands the difficult time we have had to this point and the empathy shown makes all the difference.

When attending the clinic everyone took the time to fully explain to me what everything meant and didn't let me go until I had taken it fully in. I started taking notes some time back and preparing questions. Every time I meet a medical professional my mind goes blank and I forget to ask the stuff that has been playing on my mind. Taking the notes really helps with this.

I am now just home from some minor surgery which has been as positive a experience as I could have hoped for. I had been scheduled in for a couple of months time but a cancellation meant I was seen to today.

It was my first time having surgery so I was a little daunted but all the staff were warm and friendly. I'll be back in a few weeks to see them again but couldn't wait to share my positive feedback.

We may not get all the answers we are looking for but the care we have received means a great deal and it really feels like we have someone rooting for us. Well done RMC and keep up the good work.
