"Amount of time it took for diagnosis and treatment"

About: Queen Elizabeth Hospital (Gateshead)

I was admitted on the 26th or 27th Jan with suspected gallstones - It was indeed gallstones but I was in hospital for a total of 12 days which I believe costs NHS £500 as night and I cannot see why I needed to be in that length of time I was told certain tests were only done twice a week and I just do not see what the point was of me being in that long I had the gallstone removed which was the only procedure I had 11 days after being admitted and was let out the next day so surely I could have been out in 3 days I think its just a complete waste of resources
