My dad became quite ill and my parents moved. Mum had stopped going out regularly with her sister and started getting very low. Drs suggested Stonesend but she kept refusing and then the manager Kris came to see her and persuaded her to just try it.... Well that was about 3-4 years ago and she loves it. She attends 3 days a week and finds it a reason to carry on. When dad died in 2013 she found Kris an absolutely brilliant support. She feels very safe there and trusts Kris, Brenda and Youssef.
Kris is very tender with the old people, very patient, great fun, a shoulder to cry on and very much everything they need him to be at this stage in their lives..., he will be very greatly missed!
Stonesend is a brilliant day centre and has made a big difference to mum's life!
