I could not have received better care from my neurosurgeon / anaesthetist ( legends) expert ,professional, caring and compassionate ,the nursing staff on HDU were brilliant the place was immaculate and food great and well presented

Unfortunately there was a breakdown in communication between teams which resulted in my drain being taken out early and very conflicting advice regards rehabilitation when I got onto Stafford ward which undermined my confidence when I was most vulnerable with the effect that I left rather than stayed until the next day as I had planned

Whilst the physio that saw me pre op was great the one asked to review me following was abrupt , rude and rushed

Thank you for leaving your feedback. It is great to hear the care you received was professional and compassionate; this is the high standard we aim to deliver. However I am disappointed there was a breakdown in communication and conflicting information, no patient should experience this especially during a difficult time. I would also like to apologies for the rudeness you experienced from the Physio and would like to thank you for bringing these concerns to our attention. I will share your comments will all departments involved.
