"Letters are a waste of time and money"

About: Dewsbury Health Centre Locala Walk in Centre

(as the patient),

This morning I received two identical letters, first class, informing me I have a podiatry appointment at the health centre in March. I’ve been attending this clinic for years and never had letters, nor do I need them. It seems such a waste of money to be sending even one letter, let alone two, first class letters from Bury St Edmunds to arrive on the same day.

Dear Peer537

We are sorry you received two letters from us - that was an error. We are in the process of changing our appointment system and some patients have been sent a letter with details of their next appointment, to save a call to our phone line. At your next podiatry appointment you will be able to book your next appointment there and then which will mean you don't receive any further letters or have to phone up to make one either.

We hope you will find this system more convenient.

Best wishes

Sarah
