About: Queen Alexandra Hospital

I was introduced by my GP in emergency. The doctors are very very friendly and professional. Thank you very much.

The only problem was the receptionist in that ward. I came to the ward for first time with the letter GP gave to me. The receptionist didn't even say a word to me and took my letter directly from my hand.

I don't need you smile to me but at least say a word ("Hi" or "Hello") to a patient when they come to your desk for the very first time! It is very rude and unprofessional.

This was happened 2 days after. I was called to come back for other treatments still in this ward.

Thank you for your kind words about our doctors, we appreciate you taking the time to leave your comments and will be sure to share them with the staff involved. However, I am sorry that you feel that a member of staff was rude to you. This is not what we expect from our staff and would like to apologise for any distress caused.
