I was taken in for extremely severe tonsilitis / suspected quinsy and have to say the treatment I received was amazing. Though the staff were clearly stretched they took plenty of time to talk through the problems and explain every possible scenario to me so that I understood exactly what was going on.
From the initial admissions nurse who did a thorough exam and tried to cheer me up, to the nurses that administered my IV (while dealing with about 5 other patients) to the ENT consultant that answered my millions of questions - they all made me feel like I was their priority.
Very thankful this place wasn't shut down!
