"Shame about the noise"

The ward is clean, bright and modern, and the day staff excellent. The night staff, however, were unbelievably thoughtless. They talk loudly nearly all night right outside the area where you are trying to sleep. Don't they understand how important sleep is when you are ill? In future I will say nothing if I have pain, as I will try to get better at home where I can rest. Even after complaining about the noise it did not stop. This is not treating patients with respect. A shame as such a good experience when I was first admitted by the lovely day staff.
