My husband has just spent 4 days on the ward following total knee replacement surgery.
I can not praise the Dr's, nursing and ancillary staff highly enough. They were kind caring and compassionate and although massively overworked were helpful and cheerful in all our dealings.
All systems were dealt with correctly and follow up treatment and appointments etc have all been arranged with the minimum of fuss.
As much as being in hospital for an operation can be a pleasant experience then this certainly was. As visitors we felt welcome and we'll informed and my husband as a patient did too.
