"Children's A&E"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus

I bought my daughter into A&E in the early hours of Friday 22nd January. As well as feeling unwell she was very tired and scared about what might happen to her. The moment she saw the nurse she relaxed, the nurse was wonderful with her and even made her laugh. She still talks about them and refers to them as funny bunny!! The treatment we got from all the staff was excellent, the doctor was very thorough and I felt they really took time to understand my daughters symptoms. We left, not only with the medicine we needed but some advice on what to do in the future if the symptoms return. My daughter was soon back to her old self but I am grateful that the staff at QMC were there when I needed them, You all do a great job often under challenging circumstances so a big thank you from me and my daughter

Wow! Great feedback. Thank you.

I’m so glad your daughter is back to her usual self and that she has fond memories of the nurse who looked after her.

I’ve shared your message with the team in the Children’s Emergency Department, who send their thanks and best wishes.
