About: Ilkeston Community Hospital / Minor Injuries Unit

(as the patient),

Today I had to use the minor injuries unit at Ilkeston hospital as I had terrible dental pain.

When I arrived I was met with a friendly smile. I explained to the receptionist what was wrong and although there was no dentist on site she wasn't going to turn me away and booked me into see someone. She told me to take a seat and within 2 minutes of sitting there I was called into see the nurses.

They took my obbs and examined me. They was so nice and could see I was in a lot of pain. They gave me some stronger painkillers and gave me all the numbers I needed to ring the emergency dentist in the morning.

I just want to say thank u for everything u did for me. I think ur staff here r lovely.
