I have been trying to contact the Neurosurgery Department for over a week.
I have called so many times I do not know the exact number. I do not have a direct number so am calling through the switchboard. I have tried for so long to call the department and not a single time anybody has picked the call directed from the switchboard. Doesn't the department have a receptionist? secretary, assistants or anybody that can answer the call? There is no one at all to pick up one call. I have been referred to this department by another hospital, they have sent over my details a couple of weeks ago they say. But I haven't heard from anybody from the department. I call my hospital and they say they have sent it and cant do anything, I call the department and no one picks up.
How am I meant to find out what is happening? I just want an appointment to been seen by the consultant that is all.
I am trying to call the department to ask for a fax number, I just need to know the fax number to check if my details have been sent to the correct number or not. if not I need to give the correct number to the hospital forwarding my details so the department can receive my information.
I have called so many many times to the department just wanting to know the correct fax number and there is no one there to pick a call to give me a number.
Patients are already in stress due to such circumstances, and this adds to patients problems.
I am even considering esp coming to the hospital so I am able to get a fax number.
