I phoned up the delivery suite and I was treated very rudely on the phone. I told the member of staff I was in being induced later that day but I was in labour. They said to me and I know I told that they were very busy if I could wait a few hours or if I could come in at my schedule induction time. I said you have am l ready in labour I won't need an induction. This went on and then they said and annoyed tone well I guess you have to come in. When I went in the midwives looked a bit up-and-down I kept saying I was in labour when I and I was. They just feel like they're superior to you and they can tell you what your body is feeling when you know yourself what's going on. I had to argue until a doctor came in and said well we will induce you now and I said but I'm already in labour no one seem to hear me. When the doctor went to put the pessary and even though I said I didn't need it I was told that you are 5 cm already. I had it in less than two hours after I walked in. If I were to listen to that mmidwife on the phone or the one who checked me and I would've had it at home or in a taxi with a postpartum haemorrhage it seems like you are so interested in following policy and procedure in that examining a woman who is not and if that was Labour that you don't believe women when they say they're in established labour And need to be examined
"They do not check you"
